The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) program teaches safe, empathetic techniques for de-escalating conflicts and managing crises. It empowers professionals with tools for effective communication, preventing escalation, and ensuring the safety of all involved.
This training focuses on verbal de-escalation, intervention, and prevention strategies to address escalating situations. Participants will learn strategies to recognize and respond at the earliest possible points in a crisis, using various verbal and nonverbal techniques to ensure safety for themselves, their team, and individuals in crisis.
- Day 1 - online self-directed,
- Day 2 - in person at MIAG's office.
