Pathways to Wellness:

A Safe, Inclusive, and Empowering Space for Seniors

Pathways to Wellness is a free 20-week program designed to create a supportive and welcoming space where seniors can stay active, connected, and informed. Our goal is to provide a place where every senior feels valued, supported, and empowered. Whether you're looking to improve your physical health, make new friends, or learn new skills, this program is for you. We believe that wellness is about more than just physical health — it's about building a sense of community and belonging that lasts.

Held once a week for two hours, Pathways to Wellness uses a flexible hybrid model: the first Wednesday of each month offers both in-person and online options, while the remaining sessions are online to ensure accessibility for everyone. We want every participant to feel safe, supported, and included, regardless of their location or situation.

Each week, participants experience:

• Physical Wellness (40 minutes): Gentle yoga and mobility exercises led by experienced instructors, promoting strength, flexibility, and energy in a safe and supportive setting.

• Social Connection (30 minutes): Meaningful time for building friendships, sharing stories, and nurturing a sense of belonging.

• Knowledge & Empowerment (50 minutes): Practical workshops on mobile phone use, mental wellness, brain fitness games, government services (CPP, Old Age Security), and crucial fraud and scam prevention to help seniors protect themselves confidently.

Pathways to Wellness also creates leadership and volunteer opportunities, encouraging seniors to take an active role in shaping their community and finding new purpose.

We are committed to providing a comforting, respectful, and empowering space where every senior can thrive.
