Digital Literacy Program
This program aims to enhance the digital skills of social assistance recipients and low-income individuals in Peel. The program covers both beginner and Intermediate.
The objective of the Digital Literacy Program is to train individuals in the necessary digital literacy skills to participate effectively in the labour market and everyday life. The program follows the Region of Peel curriculum recommendations and includes a learner assessment plan for students. It is delivered in person to offer a practical learning opportunity for students to practice learning and to do in-class assignments. Also, it is delivered online using Zoom.
Potential students must complete an intake form to assess their eligibility to participate in the program. Priority is given to social assistance recipients, then to low-income people who reside in Peel.
